Comica 2: Editor

It's a start, right? So far I've put more work into the windowing chrome than the actual editor, although what you see fully works.

A preview of the Capture: Nodes method of fetching comics in Comica 2. This method is the way Comica(l) 1.xx works, but this time there are many improvements. The reason for the Comic Images list is that Comica 2 will support multiple images per "comic strip"; that is, if a comic has more than one image that makes up its strip, they'll each be downloaded and "stacked" together within the viewer. Each definable 'image' has its own set of capture settings to make things as flexible as possible. A lot more options will be added.

The Live Preview option shows you a live text representation of what the current options are doing as they are being changed; a screenshot of the live preview is a post or two above.

Gone all the Alt and Title alt-text options; Comica 2 will now just search for an Alt attribute and then fall back to Title if nothing is found. Unchecking the Alt Text option will outright disable the feature.

These do look good indeed!
I think the live preview will be extremely useful, right now it's hard to check for errors when a definition breaks (like xkcd at the moment... can't figure out what's wrong). Actually, maybe the live preview could also display all found images as a thumbnail?

Do you see any realistic way to get the comics from http://comicskingdom.com/ ?
They are somehow inserted via JS, so they are not in the original source code. Also, there may be some trickery with needed HTML referrers.
My best guess is that you need to simulate a real browser visiting the page to get the images.
