Re: Catch-Up Support

I was playing around with the "Previous/NextRedirectUrl" to see if I could get it working on Gocomics... <Definition Name="Agnes" LatestComicUrl="http://www.gocomics.com/agnes/" ComicImage="cdn.svcs.+width" PreviousRedirectUrl="/\d{4}/\d{2}/\d{2}$" PreviousRedirectUrlIndex="1" NextRedirectUrl="/\d{4...

Re: some small stuff

[scrolling...] it'll be done in v1.20. Nice! [cursor-navigation] Try hitting Alt once to enable the keyboard focus visual cue (depending on Windows version; I think pre-Vista it's enabled when any key is hit), and then Escape if a menu appears, and then tap left cursor until you can't navigate back...

some small stuff

Hi again! I've found some little bugs (maybe): - When I use the mouse wheel to scroll a long comic in the right frame, the comic list on the left is scrolling, too. - I noticed I can press the left cursor key to see the previous comic. But it works only once, I've got to use the mouse to get the one...

Re: Other Comic XML entries - Part 2

Maybe a Stackable attribute would change the behaviour. If True, it would work like above, otherwise it would instead do multiple-matching. That sounds good! I've another source... Comicskingdom. If you look at http://www.seattlepi.com/comics-and-games/fun/ they have a lot of comics, all accessed v...

Re: Other Comic XML entries - Part 2

Some things I found: - The New Adventures of Queen Victoria doesn't work today (sundays don't have a large version) - (th)ink appears twice in the list, you could delete the first one. - KChronicles and Girls and Sports seem to have ended Something new: <Definition Name="Madam and Eve" LatestComicUr...

Re: Other Comic XML entries - Part 2

Thanks, I just used the "features" page and a few search and replaces on the html to get the names and urls. It's smart that the PublisherUrl can be omitted. Less clutter, probably faster too. "Editorial" or "Political" could actually be the "Genre", I think. "Rating" is probably sth different. Yes,...

Re: Other Comic XML entries - Part 2

I just saw that some of the existing gocomics entries in Comics.xml already use the zoomed image. <Definition Name="The Other Coast" LatestComicUrl="http://www.gocomics.com/the_other_coast" Rating="Everyone" ComicImage="cdn.svcs.+width" /> This is of course much better -- it's independent of the act...

Re: Other Comic XML entries - Part 2

I also checked which of the Gocomics features have the zoomed picture. Turns out, quite a lot... BUT it looks as if there is no zoom on sundays, at least for most of the strips. This inconsistency would probably result in an error on sundays if the definition used ComicImage="cdn.svcs.+width=900" :(...

Re: Other Comic XML entries - Part 2

OK, now I got the whole offerings of Gocomics in a Definition style. I have not tried these out -- there might be problems. And there will be duplicates with what's already in Comica, I've not looked at that, too. (edit1) Also, some escaping might be necessary for some names using ampersands, @, apo...
